Digestion mass testing

Under current law, digestate is waste, but it is most often used to improve soil properties. In order to use digestate in this way, it must meet the requirements of the legislation. The mass must be tested for nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (NPK) content as well as for organic matter and heavy metals (Cr, Cd, Ni, Pb, Hg). The mass must also be tested for pathogenic bacteria (Salmonella) and intestinal parasites (Ascaris sp. Trichuris sp. Toxocara sp – ATT).
