BIOAC-4H2S activated carbon for biogas desulphurisation is an innovative catalytic product that has been developed for effective desulphurisation (H2S removal).
BIOAC-4H2S has been developed using pioneering technology that exceeds the performance of most alkaline activated carbon post-impregnation technologies.
The surface-modified catalyst is produced under special conditions and ensures complete oxidation of hydrogen sulphide to sulphur in the pores of the activated carbon and its simultaneous deposition. The activated carbon catalyses without impregnation, which ensures a uniform catalytic effect.

BIOAC-4H2S activated carbon is used for the desulphurisation of agricultural biogas, wastewater treatment plants and landfill gas.

BIOAC-4H2S activated carbon has the following advantages:

  • excellent sulphur adsorption
  • very good parameters of desulphurised gas
  • high catalytic activity
  • high mechanical stability
  • low pressure loss
  • reduced propensity to exothermic reactions
  • high product quality
